Dr. Nirmalya and Maria Bhowmick strived their entire lives working for causes that are greater than themselves.

Dr. Bhowmick started his career in the national security arena in the mid 1980’s as a clandestine intelligence operator specializing in counter terrorism missions and tasks. He has served in such capacity with various U.S. government agencies for almost 35 years, operating in over a couple of dozen countries around the World.

In addition to this, together Maria and Nirmalya successfully founded several flourishing organizations and education institutes such as:

Henley Putnam University, now the Henley Putnam School of Strategic Security under National American University. This accredited degree-granting University offers bachelors, masters, and doctorate programs in Intelligence Operation, Counter-Terrorism Studies & Management, and High-Risk Protection Management.

The Akribis Group, a highly qualified Think Tank group specializing in the areas of National Security and Intelligence and Counter-terrorism, providing classified and non-classified comprehensive services for various national and international governments, military, and Federal law enforcement organizations.

Center for Terrorism and Intelligence Studies, which undertakes in-depth, cutting-edge research and prepares innovative analyses of terrorist groups, clandestine and covert operations, and political and religious extremism. Maria Bhowmick was the backbone behind these endeavors and was able to utilize her organizational talents to ensure that Dr. Bhowmick’s vision could be realized. Her managerial prowess and social adeptness aided her in overseeing the administrative needs of these institutions, including supervising highly qualified university faculty.

Currently Dr. Bhowmick is actively involved in training and mentoring executives, business leaders, and entrepreneurs in the public sector as well as providing advisement to U.S. government agencies in the national security sector.

Maria and Dr. Bhowmick have effectively transitioned their unique and diverse experiences as multistate licensed professionals who represent a large array of service providers.
